Lumisca Atelier is operated by Skin Project Pvt. Ltd. ("Lumisca," "we," "us," "our"), incorporated in India. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and applicable Indian law.

Data we collect

Identity and contact details — name, email, phone, billing address, shipping address.
Order data — items purchased, sizes, fit notes, payment confirmation status. Card details are never stored by us; payments are processed through certified gateways.
Account data — login credentials, order history, saved preferences, if you create an account.
Behavioural data — pages viewed, items added to cart, device and browser information, IP address. Collected via cookies and tracking pixels, including Meta Pixel and Google Tag.
Communications — correspondence with our client services team.

How we use your data

To process orders, dispatch garments, and provide client service.
To send transactional emails — order confirmation, dispatch, delivery.
To send marketing communications, where you have consented, and only for as long as you continue to consent.
To improve our website, fabric range, and service.
To comply with applicable legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

Consent and withdrawal

We process your data on the basis of your consent, and, where applicable, legitimate use under the DPDP Act. You may withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email, or by writing to us at admin@lumisca.co.

Sharing

We share your data only with the parties required to fulfil your order and operate our service: shipping partners (Blue Dart, DHL Express), payment processors, email and analytics providers, and our cloud infrastructure (Shopify). We do not sell your data.

Retention

We retain your data only for as long as required to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by Indian tax and accounting law.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to access your data, correct inaccuracies, request erasure, nominate a representative, and lodge a grievance. To exercise these rights, write to admin@lumisca.co.

Grievance

For grievances relating to the processing of your personal data, you may write to admin@lumisca.co. Postal correspondence may be addressed to Skin Project Pvt. Ltd., 81 Crest, Santacruz (West), Mumbai 400054, India. If you remain unsatisfied with our response, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.
